Over the past few years, we have witnessed the importance of continuous investment in healthcare innovation and new technologies. It has also become evident that international collaboration and partnership is key to the success of new developments in life sciences and health.
In order to create a comprehensive overview of what the Netherlands has to offer to these partnerships, the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector has recently published a new bidbook entitled 'Welcome to the Netherlands: Europe's Connected Life Sciences & Health Metropolis'. This exciting publication aims to promote international collaboration and highlight the opportunities for businesses and researchers in the field of life sciences and health.

The Netherlands is a well-connected hub with a prime geographical location at the heart of Europe, linked globally via excellent digital and physical infrastructure. This creates a more interconnected European medical landscape, where we are able to keep short lines of communication with partners abroad and share knowledge and talent. This is only enhanced by being home to the European Medicines Agency, as well as to seven university medical centres.
