The power of sport

This year, the Invictus Games came to The Hague (originally scheduled for 2020). Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, founded the Games back in 2014 after being inspired by the Wonder Games in the USA. There he witnessed the transformative nature of sport, both physically and mentally.

Sick and injured, serving and veteran servicemen and -women from around the world come together for a week of sports to celebrate the growth that comes with the mutual experience they have endured. Read more about this initiative and this year's games.
